SHINING A LIGHT ON TODAY: The Legacy of T. Thomas Fortune
REGISTER NOW for June 14. The Warner Student Life Center at Brookdale Community College is the setting for a symposium subtitled 'a Window into the World of Post Reconstruction,' presented by the T. Thomas Fortune Project and dedicated to the life work and memory of the 19th century pioneering African American journalist, whose historic Red Bank home is the subject of an ongoing rescue/ restoration effort. Program includes continental breakfast, panel discussion and keynote address by Professor Walter Greason of Monmouth University; admission is free but registration is required (click for web link to sign up by 6/7).
