First Friday for Seniors: Operation of the Camp Evans Radar Fielded at Pearl Harbor
In observation of Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day, the Monmouth County Library's Eastern Branch in Shrewsbury hosts a presentation of ittle known facts about the SCR270 radar, which was present during the 'Day of Infamy.' Included are details about its development by the Army Signal Laboratory at Camp Evans in Wall, and how it was used at Pearl Harbor (as well as how opportunities were missed).
