THE PEOPLE SPEAK at RBPL
Author, educator and local TV host Gilda Rogers hosts a program based on the work of historian Howard Zinn, in which people from the greater Red Bank community assemble at the Eisner Memorial Library to read the words of significant figures in American history, ranging from Frederick Douglass, Sojourner Truth (Lorraine Stone), Eugene O'Neill (TRTC's John Dias) and Harvey Milk (Councilman Ed Zipprich), to Justice Sonia Sotomayor (Isobel Lopez) and Red Bank's own African American journalist T. Thomas Fortune.
